Parent Information
TRYOUTS:
·
The coaches will
determine the teams based on age, ability of
players, and positions needed.
·
A Club representative
will notify the selected players within 24 hours.
·
Each team will
consist of 8-10 players.
REQUIREMENTS:

Registration-

before tryouts
· There
will be a $20 tryout fee
·
Birth certificate-A
copy of the birth certificate should be brought to
tryouts.
·
Medical information
form-
Available Here.
·
Uniform
information-This form will be filled out at the
first practice.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
·
Tournament schedules
will be posted on the Tyler Juniors website.
·
Teams generally
participate in 8-9 tournaments per season. (early January through mid April.) Some tournaments
are 1 day tournaments, however most tournaments will
be 2 day tournaments. Most will be held in the
Dallas area. Some teams may play selected events in
other cities.
·
Travel costs are not
included in fees, and players are responsible for
their own travel arrangements.
·
Playing time is not
guaranteed, it is earned.
·
Specific tournament
information (such as pool play times) is usually not
available until the week of the tournament.
Information will be available on the hosting team’s
website, and on the Tyler Juniors website.
PRACTICE:
·
Practices will be
held at various locations in and around the Tyler
area.
( REL, other
area facilities as needed)
·
Practice times are
typically one weekday evening and Sunday afternoon.
These days are subject to change due to facility
availability. (Mondays and Thursdays may also be
practice days.)
·
Players are expected
to be dressed and ready for practice at the
designated time.
·
Players are expected
to help with court preparation,
net set up and clean-up.
·
Attendance is
mandatory. If a player must miss practice, she
must contact the coach prior to the practice.
FEES:
·
The fees cover the
following costs: Uniforms, tournament fees, coaching
expenses, gym rental, equipment, organization
expenses, (clinics, insurance, etc.)
·
Cost structure will
be the following: (15-17's $1100)
(13-14's $1000) per
player.
·
The fees for each
player will be divided into 4 payments. Payment
dates are:
November 16th ($200 deposit)
December 11 ($300.00), January
15 ($300.00) ,
and February 12 (balance)
($200 for 13-14) ($300 for 15-17).
